Tassels, Loafers, The Universal Shoes

Tassels are stylish and charming type of shoes, apart from the fact the look absolutely cool on various outfits, they are very comfortable to wear and they work with a variety of outfits, for a variety of occasions, all year round.

My love for tassels has gone so deeply, i own different types of shoes but always seem to find myself rocking these tassels. Tassels go with almost any outfit, any situation and any combination, you can even rock them with socks or sockless and they will still carry a great sense of style that’s both casual and sophisticated.

These shoes are easy to wear with different outfit.

The T-shirt and jeans outfit is casual enough to go sockless, making this an outfit, you can hit the town for any casual occasions.

The Suit and tie outfit is a bit more formal and you can wear your tassels using socks while you are off to your office, wedding or any occasions that requires your formal look.

Tassels also look great when rocked with shorts. The tassels on a T-shirt and shorts will always look great for any summer outing.

My favourite tassels are definitely the Kardinale (Fernando Pessanto)  collections and suede tassels are always my pick among tassels, I think they are much more sophisticated. They are just simply beautiful!

Women Love Sharp Dressed Men!! What Do You Think?

There's quite a long list of things ladies look for in a man when they are searching for their "Mr Perfect". Ambition, sense of humour, good looks, personality just mentioning a few.(I know many ladies beg to differ with their text book sized list) but one of the first things she would notice about a guy is his sense of style. If you have a sharp style and dress smart, you would have won a larger part of the battle and would have impressed her a great deal.

Dressing smart radiates that air of confidence the woman craves for from the man. There is nothing more attractive than a man who knows who he is, and being sharply dressed gives that impression.

With that sleek style, you ooze of sex appeal. I doubt there's anything that makes a lady weak to the knees than a good looking man dressed smartly in a well fitted suit and if it is her man, she'll be proud to show him off to all the other ladies probably having their eyes on him.

Being neat and smartly dressed sends a message to a woman that the guy may have some dignity and class about him. If he is careful in his personal appearance I think women may think he is dependable in other areas as well. It says "I take care of myself, I'm responsible & respect myself and will most definitely have respect for you."  From personal experience, I have been complimented quite a lot of times by ladies because I have been sharply dressed so I know this for sure.

They say "clothes really do make the man" and  If you can dress yourself, you will probably succeed in whatever you do (Even if it is getting the ladies). So guys depending on the occasion and place, it's quite sexy to turn up looking sharply dressed.  Please don't go turn up at a beach party in a sharp suit and tie thinking you looking all dapper. You won't get the ladies, you will get the stupid look.

Buying Your Dream Wedding Dress? Tips!

Summer is always a great time to tie the knots and everyone will agree with me that the most important thing of any wedding is 'The wedding ring' and 'The wedding dress'. Today I will focus on the wedding dress. We know it’s the most important dress you’ll ever wear, and you want to make sure it’s absolutely perfect.

There are few tips you should consider to help you get the perfect wedding dress.

1.NEVER SHOP ONLINE! Getting the dress sized correctly is very important, and this is best done by actually trying it on.

2. It's important you go with different people for the sole reason of different opinions apart from your stylist/consultant. Please note that you do not take too much people. Not only will they get in the way, but none of them will all agree on anything, there will be too much conflict in opinion. It's probably best to take one or two person along with the consultant.

3.Try not to shop too early. Play it safe and order a size that fits your current body. Speaking of your body, it's important to pick a dress that compliments your body. Just because a strapless wedding dress is shown in your size doesn't mean that it will automatically fit your body.

4. Fabric is no doubt and important factor which comes to mind while buying your wedding dress. If your wedding is going down in the summer, It's important to buy a dress which the material that is light and suitable for summer and also allows heat to escape. You don't want to be sweating and wetting your wedding dress during the occasion.

5. You should also take into consideration the rest of your wedding details that are in place before you can truly shop for a gown, since many factors can influence the style of the dress. For example the venue. If you have planned your wedding reception in a hotel, banquet hall or a garden, then wearing a full length wedding dress is considerable. However if you have arranged for something more creative, like a beach reception, party, cruise party or the likes then you can wear short wedding dresses which can be distinctly attractive and comfortable at the same time.

6. Don't let the sales people convince you into a dress you are not 100% sure of. Remember they are there to make profits. Wedding dresses are a once in a lifetime situation, it's different from buying a a high heel shoe.

These are just a few tips from the lots i thought to point out.  Every lady has in her mind what she wants to look like in her wedding dress which makes shopping for one a very personal thing. Some  like it simple others like it glamorous. So whichever you want, it's important that you make your self happy and comfortable with it.

Have fun shopping, it's an important time in your life, so don't be shy to try on a few and find that DREAM dress that will make you the cynosure of all eyes because you are BEAUTIFUL!

My Take On Difference between Fashion And Style

Now Let’s talk about this whole “fashion” thing or would you call it a “style” thing? A lot of people do not know the difference between fashion and style. Last weekend i was having a discussion with a friend who also is quite stylish, we argued about the difference between both, to me it was amazing how he didn't know the difference between fashion and style. This inspired me to write on this topic now for the sake of those who don't know, am going differentiate the both.

Fashion is a general thing and is a trend that constantly changes. It is a trend that is difficult to keep up with because it can change by the decade, by the season, by the year and even weekly. What is considered in fashion today could possibly be different tomorrow. There’s no sustainability in fashion and one could go so far as to say fashion can be wasteful. Wasteful as in, a closet full of barely used clothes, left unused because they’re no longer fashionable or wasteful as in the stacks of money spent chasing trends because everyone else is doing it and it’s fun to have the latest, greatest wears.
Most people who follow fashion trends aren't entirely true to themselves because they seem to wear things or like things because they are 'in' or because they are popular and everyone else wants it regardless of if it goes well with them or not. This is where  style or stylist comes in.

Style on the other hand is personal, it is you! Style is what speaks about your personality even before you open your mouth to speak.  It translates clothing as an extension of your personality. The more you dress to your personality, the more stylish you'll become. This is not to say a stylish person does not follow fashion trends, They can follow a trend, adopt and adapt to these trends but most importantly put their unique touch on it. A lot of people do not have style, they just rock what fashion is in trend and couple it up all together. A stylish person cares about what flatters their skin tone, hair colour and body type, regardless if it goes against what’s in fashion. To me, it shows a great ability to balance individuality with conformity, a good understanding of their body’s strengths and weaknesses, and most of all, a strong sense of self.
Fashion takes the attention away from you, it’s on the clothing, the items deemed to be fashionable but style brings the attention directly to you.

Few times a Personal style can turn into fashion trends but Fashion trends do not turn to personal styles because everyone will be wearing that trend.

So like i said at the start of this write up, Fashion is always moving and changing which makes it very different from style. Just like the great Fashion Icon Yves Saint Laurent said, "Fashion is fleeting....style is eternal."
